Staff training

Training all staff dealing with the operation and maintenance of domestic, industrial, coal boilers and cogeneration installations.


 WHY THIS TRAINING ?

A greater number of companies have automated their boiler's running. Progressively reflexes are forgotten.
Until a few years ago, a stoker was able to adjust a flame by looking at it. With automation, an operator, today, has to rely on the existing instruments. He must learn to use them, and, above all he must understand and control their running. As to the people in charge, they must make the right choices in terms of maintenance and fight against clogging in order to protect the equipment, its efficiency, the environment…and their company's finances.

 TWO DIFFERENT TRAINING CYCLES

Two training cycles are available for the two professional categories involved :

 INFORM AND TRAIN TO DECIDE  

It is a cycle designed for the people in charge of making choices in matters of running and maintenance for fuel or coal boilers as well as cogeneration installations.


 INFORM AND TRAIN TO ACT  

It is a training cycle designed for managerial staff and technical staff in charge of running and maintaining these boilers, particularly foremen, team-leaders, etc.

 AIMS OF THE TRAINING

Remind a few rules pertaining to :
  • Running the fires.
  • The use and maintenance of the measuring equipment.
  • The regulations in terms of soot-removal , in the smoke tube for instance.
  • The maintenance of the heating equipment to perpetuate their use.


 SESSIONS

This training is divided in 4 main sessions adapted to the company's needs.

 FIRST SESSION  

The first session is about combustion :
  • The boilers and fuels specifications.
  • A reminder of basic rules.
  • Adjusting the burners.

 SECOND SESSION  

The second session is about the cause to different types of clogging on the fireside of the boiler as well as on waterside.

 THIRD SESSION  

The third session is about the means to fight the different forms of clogging off-load or on-load.

 FOURTH SESSION  

The fourth session summarizes the first three and helps the operators to have an operational vision of their jobs.


Training can be done on the company's premises.
The normal length for each training is of one or two days, according to the established program.
